Medina Culver shared the pictures on her Instagram, showing her 16-year-old self fresh-faced, with strawberry-blonde hair.
She then revealed what she looks like now, with platinum-blonde hair and a touch of makeup – but insisted that she’s had no work done.

“This what I looked like at 16,” she captioned the clip, adding, “And now at 33 without any surgery/fillers. Sometimes you can be late to the party and life turns out pretty amazing.”
People took to the comments to deem her “gorgeous”, writing that she was a “late bloomer”.
“No one could have seen that change coming … I am sure everyone who went to high school with you is shook … That is the most amazing transformation ever,” another commented.
“The butterfly has emerged from the cocoon … What an amazing, beautiful result,” said a third.
“Just like a fine wine, getting better with age!”
Dr Culver regularly talks about people not believing she was “smart enough” to enter the medical profession, with critics telling her that as a woman, she should instead “focus on building a family”.
In a previous video, the 33-year-old revealed all the reasons she was told she couldn’t become a doctor – the main one being that she was “too pretty”, and should have used her looks to become successful.
“We are constantly surrounded by people telling us what we can’t do. Guess what … stop listening to them,” she captioned the clip.
“Believe in you. Believe in your dreams. Believe in your journey. It’s the only one we get so make it count.”
In another clip, she wrote that “pretty women can be more than pretty faces … we can also be badass doctors”.
“When someone tells me you’re too pretty to be a real doctor,” she said.
“Well, thank you … pretty ambitious. Pretty hardworking and pretty determined to achieve my dreams.”
