A grandma, 63, who tied-the-knot with her 26-year-old ‘toyboy’ has announced some exciting baby news.

A grandmother and her 26-year-old ‘toyboy’ husband have delighted fans after announcing some huge baby news.

Cheryl McGregor, 63, is set to have a baby through surrogacy with her husband Quran McCain after the pair tied the knot in a small ceremony back in 2021.

The pair, from Rome, Georgia, in the US, first met when Cheryl was 52 and Quaran was just 15 back in 2012.

They reconnected in 2020 and went on to get married one year later.

Now, the mother-of-seven and grandmother-of-17 is expecting another child with her beau.

In an emotional TikTok video, the couple shared that they would be having a baby girl after doing a family gender reveal at home with giant balloons and party poppers.

Their whopping 37-year age gap is not stopping the married couple from living the life they have always dreamt of as they prepare to welcome their baby into the world later this year.

As Cheryl is no longer able to conceive naturally, the pair enlisted the help of a surrogate before their gender reveal on July 8.

In the clip, which has already attracted more than seven million views, the mum-to-be is sporting a hopeful pink dress and a ‘Mommy To Be’ sash across her body.

The couple are inside attempting to pop a black balloon to discover the gender via coloured confetti. However, it was actually a ploy, with the true reveal then taking place outside.

Joining their loved ones in the yard, they were handed party poppers and were thrilled to discover that they would be having a baby girl as they soon became surrounded by a pink mist.

Cheryl can be seen jumping for joy and embracing her husband, both elated with the exciting news.

“You both are a cute couple. Age is just age,” one wrote.

“We see you both love each other unconditionally.”

“Aw a baby, Cheryl that’s so sweet,” a TikTok user said.

“I’m so happy for you guys.”

“The way she hugged him, so cute!” another user shared.

However, it was not all positive. The couple’s exciting announcement also attracted a lot of negative comments about their age gap and especially Cheryl’s age.

“I hope she lives long enough to meet the baby,” one said.

“Some of the residents at the nursing home I work at look younger,” commented another.

“That poor child is not going to have a mother.”

The couple shared a heartwarming update about their surrogacy journey last month, sharing an ultrasound snap of their future child.

“We got pictures of our baby and [it] is starting to develop now.” Cheryl said.

“It looks like a baby now and it is so adorable.”

Cheryl and Quran first met back in 2012 when they were both working at Dairy Queen, an American fast food chain that specialises in desserts.

While they say they were close friends, they did not have romantic feelings for one another until they met again in 2020.

Quran ran into Cheryl by chance when she was working as a cashier at a different store.

They began hanging out again and quickly fell in love.

Soon after they began dating, the couple started posting videos of themselves online, soon becoming viral sensations on the platform.

While Cheryl already has children and grandchildren, she says that the pair “deserve children of their own”.

“We understand that I may not be there for as long as Quran is, but I have faith in him.,” the grandmother said about their relationship.

“If I am not here, he can do it. He’s gonna be a great father, he is a responsible adult.

“I have every bit of faith that he could raise our child, and do it very well.

“Our family is also very supportive of our decision to have children. At first they were hesitant for the same reasons.

“However, now five of my children have come to accept the idea, and my mother-in-law and I make videos together.”

The couple have come under fire from trolls online due to their unconventional relationship, however they say they never let it phase them.

“People on social media have a lot of hate for us.,” Quran said.

“They say I’m dating my grandmother. I am not.

“She is younger than my grandmother. We are no different from any other couple, love is love.”
