Shocking footage has captured the moment a man hurled racist abuse at a driver and claimed he was going to “rip China apart” in a disturbing rant on the streets of Melbourne.
The video, shared on Reddit, shows the man yelling at the driver’s front car window while standing on the street near Southern Cross Railway Station holding a bag of grated cheese and other grocery items.
“Go back to China motherf****. Go back to China,” the man yells at the driver through the window.
“I’m going to rip China apart.”
The man then takes a step back before flipping the driver off.
“F*** you dog. F*** you. You’re (in) Australia dog,” he continues.
A woman standing next to the man then joined in, also flipping off the driver.
“F*** you,” the man says again.
Keeping his cool, the man behind the camera is heard laughing before the video cuts off.
“Just some friendly Australians near Southern Cross Station,” the social media user captioned the video sarcastically.
Many online slammed the man’s behaviour and applauded the driver for their response.
“Firstly: F*** these guys. Secondly: Well handled. You gave them the spotlight with which to show themselves and didn’t lower yourself in doing so. Hope the rest of your time is spent with those of us who are happy to have you,” one person wrote.
“Blows my mind that people like this exist. Imagine being filled with so much hate all the time. Must be quite a burden,” said another.
“Nothing harder than holding a bag of shredded cheese whilst abusing a foreigner,” another added.
“Holy s*** someone better warn China that a man of energy and enterprise is on their way to rip China apart,” another quipped.
