Savannah Daisley enjoyed a life of luxury, rubbing shoulders with Australia’s elite. But on Tuesday, her world came crashing down.

As a successful entrepreneur and heiress, Savannah Daisley was used to the high life – but this week, everything changed.

Police allege the North Shore woman had sex with a 14-year-old child on four occasions last year, and on Tuesday this week, she faced Waverley Court after being charged with four counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a child between 14 and 16 years old.

Ms Daisley, who was refused bail, has strenuously denied the allegations and intends to plead not guilty.

But she will be held on remand at Silverwater Women’s Correctional Centre until her matter is mentioned in Manly Court on August 2 – a far cry from her life of luxury.

The 48-year-old is the daughter of renowned horse breeder Ross Daisley, who bred and sold champion sprinter and sire Choisir.

In 2014, she also founded her detox company Smart Cleanse, attracting a legion of celebrity fans including Home And Away star Jodi Gordon, who last year touted the brand as her “health and beauty secret”.

But despite her success and comfortable upbringing, the Smart Cleanse website tells of Ms Daisley’s health struggles over the years,

“They say that the most empowering outcomes can arise from the most challenging journeys and the discovery of Smart Cleanse is no exception,” the site states.

“While Savannah has enjoyed the benefits of exceptional health and wellbeing for a number of years now, this wasn’t always the case in her younger years.”

The site then quotes Ms Daisley directly, who states that: “After having a childhood wrought with junk food (toxic food), to becoming the resident mojito (cocktail with mint, lime and sugar in it) girl in my 20s, I manifested some pretty tough imbalances in my body over the years”.

She said she had destroyed her gut microbiome “with antibiotics and polluting my body with toxins”, which worsened her food allergies and saw her vitality and energy levels “nose dive”, leading to constant headaches.

After attending a lecture with cellular biologist Dr Bruce Lipton of Stanford University Medical School, Ms Daisley had a “light bulb moment” that inspired her detox empire, and she went on to develop the “14-Day Smart Cleanse” program.

Her products are now sold Australia-wide after she inked deals with Priceline and Mr Vitamin in recent years, and Ms Daisley also regularly appeared on Channel 10 infomercials.

She has also built up a thriving social media presence, attracting 40,000 followers on Instagram, and recently posted on the platform about her previous struggles with alcohol, declaring she had spent 223 days sober.

However, by Friday morning, her social media accounts were no longer accessible.

She’s now swapped her multimillion-dollar waterfront mansion in Longueville on Sydney’s North Shore for a jail cell, where she is on remand as she awaits her next mention in court.

Ms Savannah will face court in August.

Police allege Ms Daisley engaged in unlawful sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old child on four occasions in the 24 hours leading up to 5pm on May 20, 2021 in Longueville.

She was highly intoxicated at the time of the alleged offending, according to police allegations tendered to the court, and police allege a legal phone tap recorded the entrepreneur talking about kissing the alleged victim.
