Fuming Adelaide mum’s note to bad parker
Recovering from a C-section, the new mum had been greeted with a frustrating situation thanks to the car parked next to her.
An Adelaide woman recovering from a caesarean has shared the passive aggressive note she left a driver who blocked access to the right side of her car in a hospital car park.
In a Facebook post, which has since been deleted, the woman shared a photo of the black Holden Astra parked close up alongside her car, Daily Mail reports.
The new mum also shared a picture of the note she left the driver, which began by saying she was “sorry you’re at the hospital and I hope everything works out okay”.
“I was unable to get my babies [sic] capsule in the back left hand door so I had to do it from the other side,” she wrote.
“I have 14 stitches from my C-section so was quite a funny ‘dance’.”
The note ended by saying she had wanted to let the driver know “in case another parent doesn’t take your car into consideration next time”.
“Maybe park a little more to the left or check for a baby capsule seat,” she said.
While the note’s tone was polite, the woman admitted on Facebook she had understandably been left furious by the situation.
“[I] really wanted to say learn how to f***ing park or at least have some consideration for others,” she captioned the post.
In August, a heavily pregnant Northern Irish woman went viral after sharing the distressing note she had found on her car at a shopping centre car park.
Anne-Marie Burke had just finished work and returned to her car, only to find the white BMW X5 had a scratch along its side, as well as a note left under the windscreen.
The note read: “I hit the back of your car because it was so badly parked.
“I’m only leaving this note because people are watching and they think I’m leaving my name and address.”
Ms Burke was left shaken by the note, labelling it “vicious and horrible”.
