A tattoo fan who has covered his entire body in ink has revealed his family disowned him for looking like a “demon”.

Soren Lorenson, 28, also known as Neon Demon, has shared snaps of himself and some of his 200 tattoos, The US Sun reports.

And he looks completely unrecognisable as a teen, with only a few small tats on his knuckles.

Lorenson, from Florida, US, says he has no regrets even though his family has stopped talking to him due to his appearance.

“My entire extended family hates my tattoos and make no effort to ever talk to me or reach out ever since I first got my face done,” he told the Daily Star.

“My parents love me and support me but they have told me numerous times that I need to pray for god’s help and that they will never understand me.”

The tat lover explained that he got his first tattoo at the age of 18 as a tribute to his late girlfriend.

He quickly got addicted and kept adding body art to his body, including his face and eyeballs.

“I got my first face tattoo years ago shortly after my girlfriend died in a tragic motorcycle accident,” he said.

“Her name was Courtney and I got a ‘C’ underneath my eye to remember her by.”

Looking back at old photos of himself, he said still feels a connection to the person that he used to be.

“When I think back and look at old photos I know that I was that person but I feel as if I’ve now evolved into something slightly different,” he said.

His unique looks mean that he is now used to getting judgmental looks from strangers but has learned how to deal with it.

“When I walk into a room almost every head turns and I immediately hear people start to whisper,” he said.

“In the beginning it was very hard for me and I felt constantly embarrassed and uncomfortable in public.

“These days I am comfortable with it and have developed peace about it.

“Everyone looking and talking about me usually doesn’t come from hateful intent, rather just curiosity.

“So I don’t mind because I am well aware I look quite strange compared to the average individual walking around.”

He added: “Everyone is going through their own journey and life can be long and hard. Be kind and open-minded.

“Just because you may not approve, doesn’t mean that person can turn back time or will just stop existing.

“People tell me I’ve ruined my life, but what should one reply to that?

“We may only move forward and try to live our lives the best we can, finding joy where we can and spreading love.

“I am happy with myself, who I am inside and out. Show love to others and love yourself.”
