Elon Musk breaks silence over influencer’s baby claim
Billionaire Elon Musk responded to a post on X that suggested influencer Ashley St Clair plotted for half a decade to have his child.
Elon Musk has broken his silence a day after conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair claimed she gave birth to his baby five months ago — responding to a post on X that suggested she plotted for half a decade to have his child.
St. Clair, 26, alleged on Friday in the US that she and Musk share a five-month-old child, the New York Post reported.
“Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time,” Brian Glicklich, the author’s rep, wrote in an X post.

“It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially. We are waiting for Elon to publicly acknowledged his parental role with Ashley, to end unwarranted speculation, and Ashley trusts that Elon intends to finish their agreement quickly, in the best interests of the wellbeing and security of the child they share.”
The Post has reached out to Musk’s lawyer for comment.
“Whoa,” Musk wrote on X, which he owns, in response to a post that claimed, “Ashley St. Clair plotted for HALF A DECADE to ensnare Elon Musk.”
St. Clair then replied, blasting the richest man alive for responding publicly to “smears”.
“Elon, we have been trying to communicate for the past several days and you have not responded. When are you going to reply to us instead of publicly responding to smears from an individual who just posted photos of me in underwear at 15 years old?” she wrote minutes later.
Musk has 12 other children with three other women.
The South African Tesla founder shares five children with first wife Justine Wilson — first having twins Vivian and Griffin and then triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian.
Pop star Grimes and Musk share three children, including toddler X, who has been seen with his father around the White House, girl Exa Dark Siderael and boy Techno Mechanicus.
Musk and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis also share twins, Strider and Azure. The entire family was present at Thursday’s meeting with India’s Prime Minister Modi.
St. Clair, who made the shocking public declaration on X Friday night, said she opted to come forward after being hounded by the “tabloid media”.
“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she wrote, requesting the media honour the child’s privacy and refrain from “invasive reporting”.
In a subsequent tweet three hours later, St. Clair thanked supporters and said she was going to log off the platform.
“In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists,” she wrote.
The DOGE honcho, who follows St. Clair on the platform has posted excessively about other subjects since she made her surprise announcement.
