One woman has revealed how she got stacks of toilet cleaner, hair products and toothpaste all for “free” thanks to little-known hack.

The woman took to Markdown Addicts Australia’s Facebook page to reveal how she scored the array of products from Woolworths – and she didn’t pay a cent.

“All FREE! So I only buy half-price items and always boost my buys when they come up on my app,” the woman revealed.

“In one month I got $50 rewards and worked out the best value to get all half-price items I wanted.

“So these were all half-price and ended up free.”

The Woolworths Boosters program is attached to the Everyday Rewards program.

All customers have to do is download the app, subscribe to boosters and simply click boost so that you can earn more points.

After that, customers either order the products online or head into a store to purchase the products, while scanning their Everyday Rewards card.

Many customers shared similar experiences with rewards card systems.

One customer said: “Woolies have really upped their game with their Rewards. I love the boosters and I just boost everything just to make sure I don’t miss out and pick up something I haven’t boosted.”

Another added: “I got $205 off a shop as well, chose what items I needed on Special and used the 10 per cent Extra Rewards. I got whole Steggles chickens already on sale $4 per kilo and I ended up paying $3.60 per kilo. I just get two or more home and cut up and de-skin myself.

“So, it works out at $3.60 per kilo for tenderloins, chicken thighs, chicken breasts. I just put them into portions and freeze in portions.”

One said they find the items they need aren’t always available on the program but it is nice when they are.

“Not Woolies but I love Coles,” another shopper said.

“Have used the [FlyBuys] points many times to fly. One from North Queensland to Perth and back, as well as a trip to Brisbane, fuel on many occasions and also groceries.”
