Bondi label sells out of bikini after Kourtney Kardashian shares post wearing the brand

A Bondi label has sold out of one of its bikinis after Kourtney Kardashian posted a snap flaunting her toned body in the popular item.

Believe it or not but the Kardashians have a lot of power — especially when it comes to fashion.

Within hours after reality star Kourtney Kardashian posted a bikini snap flaunting her toned body in a striking yellow bikini, it sold out online.

The two-piece swimsuit belongs to Bond-Eye Swim, an Aussie label located in Sydney’s popular beach town of Bondi.

In the image, the mum-of-three can be seen perched on a rock as she shares the flashback moment from her time holidaying in Sardinia.

Despite the snap being old, just by Kourtney re-posting it, it has boosted sales for the local Aussie brand.

The eye-catching one size yellow bikini retails for $165 ($85 top, $80 bottom) and sold out within hours.

“The power of celebrity backed by social media is monumental and creates instant hysteria,” Heather Ferguson, Bond-Eye Swim creative director told news.com.au

“It’s extremely humbling as a brand that was born out of Bondi being able to achieve these moments organically. The whole office is pinching themselves.”

Ms Ferguson said the bikini worn by Kourtney was already a bestseller but by her posting it, it sold out nearly instantly.

“This is the first of the Kardashian/Jenner clan to rock our swimwear, however it’s not the first celeb. Rita Ora, Kristen Cavellari, Rumer Willis and Jessica Mulroney (Meghan Markle’s best friend) are just a few of the Hollywood ladies we’ve seen in Bond-Eye,” Ms Ferguson said, adding it’s the bikinis’ fit and fabrication which makes the brand so popular.

“The fabric construction is tubular and doesn’t have side seams, which allows it to stretch over broader curves while still hugging waistlines, no matter what the shape.”

The bikini top showed a glimpse of Kourtney’s cleavage but fans were more drawn to the 40-year-old’s washboard abs and slender waist.

“That body!” one fan said.

“Scott Disick is mad swinging at the air right now,” a second pointed out.

“Who do I sue about the fact that she’s birthed 3 children and looks better than me,” a third jokingly wrote.

KOURTNEY’S DIET AND TRAINING

Keeping fit and staying healthy is something Kourtney devotes a lot of time to maintaining — both through her organic, dairy keto diet to training six times a week.

In a blog post on her website, Kourtney attributed her physique to foods like avocado, wholegrain porridge, collagen supplements and plenty of apple cider vinegar, which is said to increase metabolism speeds and accelerate fat loss.

But while she can be strict, for her, it’s all about “moderation”.

She also told E! Online that she has only allowed herself to splurge on holidays in the past, but admitted that mentality was a mistake.

Now she will indulge in a bit of pizza or ice cream “in moderation,” she says, noting she’s careful not to label that splurge a cheat. That word, she reasons is negative, “which doesn’t make sense for all the hard work and eating healthy I do most of the time”.

It will probably come as no surprise to some that the eldest Kardashian is a fitness fanatic, spending nearly everyday working out.

“I think I take time for myself to work out every day, which I never did – especially having three young kids,” she tells E! News about training in the mornings. “I just never made it a priority, and now it makes me feel so much better – mentally and physically.”

Her workouts consist of cardio and endurance with Hollywood trainer Amanda Lee, who also trains Kim.

Lee told ELLE the sisters training sessions are fundamentally HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), which is “mostly geared towards toning, lifting, tightening and fat-burning, even though that’s not a main goal”.
