Bella Hadid shares the painful detail in her bikini video

The 24-year-old model shared a video of herself posing in a two-piece bikini, while revealing a painful mistake while taking an arvo nap.

Bella Hadid has taken away an important lesson after having spent a little too much time under the sun.

In an Instagram video shared with her 38 million followers, the 24-year-old model revealed that she fell asleep while enjoying the warm weather on her tropical holiday – leaving her with painful sunburn.

“I just woke up. Danger do not leave a sleepy girl in the sun,” she captioned the short clip as she danced around under a palm tree in a blue bikini.

Despite her face burn catching the eye of followers, it was also the prominent red, burn lines across her chest that stood out.

The post, which included another of her posing beside the trunk of a palm tree, showed just how bad the sun struck her, with a clear contrast to her otherwise pale skin.

One concerned fan wrote: “Were u at least wearing sunscreen??”

“Wear sunscreen please bb,” another added.

Despite the painful-looking burn, the Vogue cover model appeared to be enjoying her getaway sharing a bunch of snaps from her undisclosed tropical holiday.

And some fans couldn’t help but comment on her “hot” physique.

“Wow ur unreal,” one person wrote.

“Body goals,” said another.

Earlier this month, Bella took part in a virtual runway show for Italian luxury fashion house, Fendi. She shared the stage alongside Kate Moss and Demi Moore whose runway debut left fans in shock over her vastly different look.

Meanwhile, Bella’s sister Gigi, who is also a model, has taken time out to care for her four-month-old daughter, Khai, which means “the chosen one”.

In an interview with Vogue, Bella revealed how older sister Gigi, 25, has made the decision to keep her little one’s face off social media.

“I think she wants to be real online,” Bella told the publication.

“But until her child wants to be in the spotlight and can make the decision herself, she doesn’t want to put her in that position.”

Bella said she speaks to her niece every morning on FaceTime.

The star said she has been reading to her the same books Gigi used to read to her, including The Rainbow Fish and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

“It’s pretty nostalgic,” she added.
