American woman exposes secret bathroom act many guilty of

A woman has copped flak after she posted a video explaining she does the unthinkable when she finished in the bathroom – but she’s not alone.

A woman has copped flak after revealing she doesn’t wash her hands when she finished in the bathroom – but apparently she’s not alone.

Sophia shared a video admitting her bathroom habits earlier this week that has since gone viral with over 660,00 views on TikTok.

In the clip, which was filmed in a bathroom, Sophia explained her stance on hygiene, NY Post reported.

“I’m going to expose myself because I feel like it’s really weird that I do this and I don’t know if other people do this,” she began her clip.

“But I don’t always wash my hands after I pee, especially if I’m in my own house, right?” she wondered.

“I know how to pee in a way that doesn’t make a mess on myself,” Sophia added.

She then went on to discuss her other practices, like what she does when she has friends over at her house.

“I do this thing where if I have guests over and I go to pee, I’ll turn my sink on and pretend to wash my hands, and kill some time so that they think I have washed my hands but I haven’t,” she continued.

Sophia spelled it out for her fans: “So I actually go through the process of wasting both water and time just to kind of keep up with a lie that actually doesn’t matter.”

“Anyway, anyone else do that?” she asked her 41,000 followers and beyond.

Her point of view caused a waterfall of responses and divided users.

Some people agreed with her ways while others were disgusted at her trickling techniques.

“Haha don’t most of us secretly do this?” someone pondered. “But you touch the toilet flusher and sink handles after taking a sh*t so cross contamination??” one chimed in.

“Just … wash your hands,” a user simply suggested. “I found my people,” joked another. One added: “Why pretend to wash your hands when you could actually just do it?”

“OH THANK GOD! I thought I was a lone sicko doing this exact thing,” a person quipped.

A user then interjected and slammed Sophia, calling her “weird” and asked why did she feel the need to share this information.

The CDC recommends scrubbing one’s hands for at least 20 seconds after going to the bathroom. People should lather on an adequate amount of soap and water to remove germs from hands.

Human hands carry an average of 3,200 different germs, which can be harmful. However, with improved handwashing techniques, these germs can be less transferable.

While Sophia has stirred the pot on TikTok, her approach is not the first time it has been referenced.

On a recent episode of Barstool Sports’ Mean Girls Podcast, hosts Jordyn Woodruff and Alex Bennett discussed their bathroom habits. The pair also spoke about not cleaning their palms after doing their business. A clip of the unsanitary segment garnered 7 million views on Twitter — and a lot of disturbed respondents.

Their gross-out claims echoed those made in yet another Barstool production, the Plan Bri Uncut podcast. In a 2022 episode, emcees Brianna Chickenfry and Grace O’Malley argued that women don’t need to wash when they urinate because they “don’t touch nothing” but toilet paper. They added that they also only pretend to wash their hands in public bathrooms — just to save face.

Using toilet paper after taking a washroom break has also been the cause of discussion lately.

Influencer Channon Rose declared last month in a TikTok video that she doesn’t like to use tissues to wipe.

The Colorado mum would rather use washcloths because standard toilet paper is “gross.”

She claims her family also uses a bidet and reusable fabric to dry off, as “water and cloth just cleans you way better.”
