American woman reveals how she left teaching job to be a ‘porn star’

A Catholic schoolteacher from Los Angeles, California, has revealed how she left behind her career to feel closer to God as a “porn star”.

Is porn ruining our sex lives?

A teacher turned “porn star” reveals how her Catholic school job made her feel apart from God but claims the religious figure told her to go into the adult industry.

Courtney Tillia said she was raised a “good Christian girl” and found work as a teacher at a Catholic school but never truly felt happy.

The Los Angeles woman said her religion, and her husband Nick, helped her turn to working as an adult entertainer.

“Before I left teaching, I felt super disconnected from myself and also God! I didn’t know what my life’s purpose was or how I was meant to help others,” the 36-year-old told the Daily Star.

“When I started connecting to myself and to God in a different way than what I had been taught in church, I kept hearing and feeling the nudge to help liberate women from their sexual shame.”

She said she felt so much sexual shame of her own initially, and felt triggered doing a photo shoot with other porn stars.

Courtney said that when she started in the industry she felt the judgment society and religion had placed within her about being a sexual being.

When she came to terms with it, she said she felt “lied to” but her new life made her feel “holy and sacred”.

She now wants to help other women feel liberated, saying God’s plan was now “abundantly clear” and her way of serving him was being a “porn star”.

“This is my way of serving,” Courtney explained.

“I’m living my life as an example of being fully out in the open and unapologetically expressed: not against God, but completely with God.”

She said she felt closer than ever with God in her new career, despite what others may see.

Courtney’s new career sees her pull in anything from $A30,000 to $A150,000 a month thanks to her 18,000 subscribers.
