Aldi brings back popular hot pot and grill Special Buy item

Aldi has brought back a popular Special Buy item from 2020 – and it’s expected to fly off shelves as shoppers rush to get their hands on one.

A popular Special Buys item is making a return to Aldi’s centre aisle – and customers are beyond excited.

Aldi first released the Electric Hot Pot and Grill in 2020 and it wasn’t long before customers were left checking store after store in an attempt to get their hands on one.

But now, it will be released once again on January 18 with a $68.88 price tag – $10 more than its previous price.

Social media users immediately became excited by the return of the kitchen item, with some saying they were keen to get their hands on one to make homemade Korean barbecue.

“Best buy – I love mine,” one person who got one in 2020 said.

Another said: “I absolutely love mine.”

One avid traveller said they have one in their caravan and it was a great addition.

“I feel like you should invest in one of these,” another said, tagging their friend in the comment section of the post.

An Aldi spokesperson told news.com.au that the item is being released as part of a collection for Lunar New Year.

“We are excited to bring back our range of food and kitchen essentials to help Australians cook up delicious meals to celebrate Lunar New Year,” the spokesperson said.

“The electric hot pot and grill is a special favourite of the range. It boasts two-in-one multifunctional design with a 800W grill and 1200W hot pot.

“With its removable drip tray, and removable stainless steel hot pot bowl, the clean-up is as quick and easy as the cooking.

“Customers can pick up their own for $68.88 while stocks last.”

A rice cooker, wok and other cooking utensils are also being dropped as part of the sale.

As with all Aldi Special Buys, the product is only in stores while stocks last.
