Abbie Chatfield praised for ‘amazing’ first Sydney live shows

After her first live shows in her new stage tour, one guest has praised Abbie Chatfield in a sweet Instagram post for a moment they “won’t forget”.

Abbie Chatfield has kicked off her live show stage tour, with Sydney attendees praising the radio host and influencer for giving them “the most fun” and the “best show ever”.

The 26-year-old hosted her first A Hot Night With Abbie Chatfield at the Opera House on Saturday, with special guests Khan Hong, Art Simone and Lillian “Flex Mami” Ahenkan.

Sharing “iconic pics from last night” after the show to Instagram on Sunday, dozens of Chatfield’s followers jumped into the comments to congratulate her, including Art Simone, who wrote: “Congrats Diva! This was the most fun!”

“I love how your podcast and shows are so inclusive to every group of person – why we love you Abbie!” one follower wrote.

“I was there last night, and, oh my God! Best show ever,” commented another.

And she followed it up on Sunday night with another “iconic” Sydney show – this time joined by drag queen Danni Issues, sex coach Georgia Grace and LGBTQIA+ activist and podcast host Deni Todorovic.

In a sweet tribute, Deni thanked Chatfield “for a moment I won’t soon forget”.

“It’s not every night that you get to sit on the stage of the Sydney Opera House, talking about your journey to Queerness to a sold out theatre. Thank you my darling @abbiechatfield for a moment I won’t soon forget!” they wrote.

“The first time I came to the @sydneyoperahouse I was a young child, my family and I came to Sydney for a church convention and at that point in my life, I never imagined I would ever come out as even gay. So to be back here tonight more than 25 years later sitting in Pride with my Queer identity – oh how the universe works. Nothing but grateful!”

“I’m moving in. All I ever want to hear is terrible sex stories with Abbie and Deni,” one of Chatfield’s followers commented on a video from the show.

“Listening to tonight live from my couch (with popcorn) was an absolute vibe – absolutely obsessed,” wrote another, while a third added, “She was iconic, need more!”

Others pleaded with the former Bachelor star to bring the show – which will also tour Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and the Gold Coast — to their cities.

“I wish you were coming to Perth so bad,” wrote one, to which two others added “huge agree” and “SAME”.

“Can you bring it to Perth please Abs!” another commented, while one woman said, “Come to Cairns!”
