Bunnings customer fumes over annoying carpark gripe

A Bunnings customer has shared a photo of several cars parked in bays at her local store, but the act has left her fuming for one reason.

A Bunnings customer has vented her frustration after being left with nowhere to park her ute and attached trailer.

The woman from Western Australia took to a private Facebook page sharing a snap of several cars without trailers taking up the ‘Trades and Trailer’ bays at her local Bunnings store.

“I think some people had their trailer stolen,” she wrote sarcastically in the post.

A photo shows the woman’s side mirror and in it you can see a trailer attached to the back of the ute she is driving.

She said she was about to drive into a car spot when she discovered the extra long space was taken up by a car with no trailer.

“I saw the empty bays, took it wide so I could come in nicely to the left bay, had committed to the turn … Then I saw the cars hiding at the back,” she explained in the comments section of her post.

Many shared in the woman’s frustration describing the acts “lazy”.

“This sh*ts me off also,” one Facebook user wrote.

News.com.au can confirm most Bunnings stores have Trade and Trailer spots for customers to easily and safely secure their loads, which also goes for tradies and retail customers with trailers.

It is understood there are no rules about how customers can use these spots, and shoppers generally leave them for those who need them.

The woman’s carpark gripe comes after a Sydney shopper left a note for a “selfish” driver who had parked in the Trades and Trailer bay without a trailer.

A photo of the car and the note was uploaded to the Manly Living Facebook group last Tuesday.

“Vibing on this polite note left on a car that selfishly has parked in the Trades and Trailer bay allocated in the Bunnings car park, Balgowlah,” the person who took the snap had captioned the post.

“Doubt it would change the person’s behaviour but you never know.”

It read: “Please don’t park here! You make it difficult for hard-working tradies!”

“Please be communal,’” they said before signing off with “thanks” and a smiley face.

Others praised the “tradie” who wrote the note, writing “good on them”.

“So many people park in those spots when all you have to do is drive down one more level and it’s usually half empty. Makes it very difficult for people with trailers to park,” one person wrote.
