AFTER editing a selfie on her iPhone, a woman decided to send a message to her mother claiming that she’d had a horrific allergic reaction to nuts.
AFTER editing a selfie on an iPhone app, a woman decided to play a hilarious prank on her mum.
Daughter Claire Maughan, from Edinburgh, duped her mum into believing that she’d had a horrific allergic reaction.
She set up the prank by texting: “Mum, I think I have taken an allergic reaction”.
When her concerned mum responds: “How what has happened?” she explains that she had a strange reaction to nuts that were in a cake she ate.
Claire accompanies the texts with a hilarious selfie that has been edited to give her inflamed lips and extremely puffy cheeks.
The ‘reaction’ is so extreme that you can barely see her eyes through the swelling.
Her mum is immediately sent into a frenzy, as she hurriedly responds: “Jesus Christ of mighty what has happened to your face.
“I’m phoning ambulance what’s the address for your work !!!”
Inside of quickly replying and calming down her panicked mum, Claire decided to post the amusing exchange to Twitter.
One of her friends responding: “I CANNOT COPE WITH THIS CLAIRE ur poor wee mum” while another said: “HAHAHAHAHAHA Claire man ur awful”.
Even though the prank was only posted on Twitter last week, it’s been already been liked by more than 1700 people.
There’s no news yet on whether or not an ambulance did show up at trickster Claire’s work.
