A woman has left social media users scratching their heads with the admission she’s been pregnant for 17 out of the past 18 months.

US mum Jacqueline Woodwell fell pregnant six weeks after giving birth to her daughter last year, Kidspot reports.

“Been pregnant for 17 of the past 18 months,” she posted in a now-viral TikTok video, adding a “mind blown” emoji. “Only 2.5 more weeks.”

Ms Woodwell’s video has been viewed over 400,000 times, and left many followers confused.

“I thought pregnancy was only nine months,” one person wrote.

“Wait,” another said. “You’ve been pregnant for over a year?”

“OK but 17 MONTHS!” a third said.

Others thought she meant weeks, but from the video, in which Ms Woodwell is wearing a loose maxi dress over her definitely-not-17-week bump, it’s clear this woman is nearing the end of her third trimester.

But many followers knew exactly what she was talking about, explaining that she’d fallen pregnant shortly after having her last babies.

“I saw one of your videos on YouTube saying you don’t know about putting your children in the same classes … me and my brother are and it’s amazing,” one person commented.

“I wouldn’t change it for the world!”

“I keep coming to her account to see if she had her baby,” another said.

“I was also (born less than 12 months after my sibling).”
