FORMER Biggest Loser trainer Tiffiny Hall just got a lot of love on Instagram after posting an “honest” photo of her body before and after pregnancy.
Hall, who is known for her cheese-grater abs, gave birth to son Arnold in early September. It’s the first child for Hall, 33, and partner Ed Kavalee.
“Here is another kind of now and then, and you know what? I couldn’t be happier,” writes Hall in the Instagram post.
“I look at Arnold and it’s me who created that little Ninja! My body did that. So, the way I see it, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been. Ninjas come in all shapes and sizes, the goal is to work on the happy just as much as the fit. It is sooooo important to be happy and healthy and imperative to be a Ninja and to have the support of an amazing community. Today is last day to become a Ninja and I would love it if you would join me getting #happyfit together.”
Hall is referring to her TIFFXO fitness program.
Hall’s post was liked over 15k times and was met with lots of positive comments from her 83k+ followers.
“This is real life and you look absolutely gorgeous,” said one.
Another wrote: “You legend! I still looked 25 weeks pregnant two weeks after giving birth. It’s so important for ‘ordinary’ mums to see that not everyone ‘snaps back’. The body is an amazing thing, and each is unique. Thank you for such a body positive message.”
Before Arnold was born, hall told news.com.au she wasn’t going to put pressure on herself to “bounce back” after the birth.
“There’s a lot of effort that goes in to the bounce back.
“Hours at the gym and calorie restrictions. I’m not up for sacrificing time with my new baby to be pumping it out at the gym.
“It’s so much pressure on new mums. My body has changed, and that’s all right. I have put on weight, but it’s beautiful, glorious weight.”
Hall also said because of her fitness she thought she’d be able to continue an active lifestyle throughout her pregnancy.
But instead — she was forced to spend time in hospital (due to severe morning sickness) and only do “pilates a few times a week”.
“I loved being active, and I loved my routine,” she said.
“But at the end of the day, all that matters is the baby. They have a plan, and I can’t interfere.
“I know bodies are adaptable, and when I need to get fit again I will.”
