Model Simone Holtznagel and her partner, celebrity trainer Jono Castano, have shared a “beyond exciting” family update.

The model and celebrity trainer shared the happy news on Instagram on Thursday, announcing they were “entering our Mum & Dad era”.

“We are beyond excited to share that we are expecting a baby girl,” the post read.

“Having kids is something we have always wanted and we cannot wait to navigate this new exciting chapter of our lives together.

“Due March 2024.”

Speaking to Who magazine, the 30-year-old revealed she took a pregnancy test “on a whim” after feeling sick off the back of a birthday trip to the Maldives.

“The first couple of weeks were a little bit tricky but not as bad as some people have it. We’ve very grateful,” Holtznagel told the publication.

“We have two names [for the baby] that we both really love. I’ve bought two items of clothing and my mum and Jono’s mum have bought me some little presents.”

Holtznagel and Castano went public with their relationship last May, after they were photographed kissing at Coogee restaurant Mimi’s.

The personal trainer was previously married to his business partner, Amy Castano, but the pair separated in May 2021 after more than a decade together.

The former couple remain close friends and co-owners of Acero Gym.
