Former Married At First Sight star reveals she will have to turn to IVF if she hasn’t naturally conceived a second child by a certain date.

Jules Robinson opened up on Kidspot’s The Juggling Act about her fertility journey after she and co-host Melissa Wilson discussed media personality Fifi Box’s pregnancy story.

The reality television star said she, husband Cameron Merchant and son Oliver will head to the UK for a work campaign.

“We have decided that as soon as my campaign is done over there, we will go hammer and tong and really try [to conceive naturally],” Jules said on the podcast.

“And if it doesn’t happen by September, when we’re back, we will be doing IVF.”

She said the couple would love to have another one or two children.

Jules said she hasn’t thought too much about IVF as she is in the mental space that she wants to give it a solid try, maintaining her belief it will happen naturally because “that’s how she thinks”.

The 40-year-old said she fell pregnant with Oliver within two months, and that’s how long she is giving herself this time.

“I think I don’t have time on my side, so I think if we can just speed it up as quick as possible, I’m OK with [IVF],” she said.

Jules said she wasn’t looking forward to the hormones side of IVF, describing herself as “already sensitive” and the added hormones were set to make that even worse.

The podcast hosts said fertility was a tricky game as women not meet the right person in the time frame they need to or, if a woman decides to become a single mother and go it alone, even with freezing eggs, the desired outcome isn’t always achievable.
