A mum-of-10 has shared her hectic morning routine with her 2.4 million social media followers, with some deeming it a “nightmare”.

Mum-of-10 slammed online

Mum-of-ten Alicia Dougherty has shared the vast piles of food she has to prepare before her children’s breakfast and lunches before they wake up.

The mother of the Dougherty Dozen showed off her regular morning routine to her 2.4 million TikTok followers.

In two short video clips, she films herself making their food after waking up at 5am. And you can see she hand makes everything, The Sun reported.

From preparing bags of fruit, to makings their sandwiches and adding snacks into their packed lunch, Alicia doesn’t miss a trick.

And people have been quick to comment, as they are stunned by her organisational skills.

“You’re so organised. I love it,” one wrote.

“She’s putting in effort with her kids and y’all complaining. Y’all wish your mum would do the same for you.”

However, some just thought it was a “nightmare” watching her do it.

“Lesson learned, never kids,” one quipped.

In a 2018 interview with People, Alicia and Josh explained that all six of their adopted kids have behavioural issues and suffer from Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) – making family life a little more challenging.

Although they weren’t aware of this when adopting their first son Alex – who was four at the time, the parents threw themselves into helping him – and went on to help other kids with “difficult behaviours”.

“We became known as the parents who could handle the difficult behaviours,” Alicia said, and now, the power duo share insight into their hectic family life on TikTok and Instagram.

Although the kids aren’t expected to do chores, they do have some responsibilities, Alicia explained.

To help manage the hectic family schedule, each child’s daily activities are written on a whiteboard in the kitchen, which has their entire day broken down into timeslots.

The boys play football in a team with their dad as the coach, while some of the older kids take music lessons.

In summer, all of the kids swim daily for hours “to burn off excess energy, and because water is a calming, therapeutic source”.
