Boy, 5, orders $1200 of Gelato Messina ice cream and sends it to his dad’s work via Uber Eats
A sweet-toothed five-year-old ordered $1200 worth of ice cream on his dad’s credit card and sent the haul to his father’s office via Uber Eats.
A five-year-old boy used his dad’s phone to order $1200 worth of Gelato Messina ice cream, which he then had sent to his father’s work.
The clever Sydney boy was supposedly meant to be playing Tetris when he made the pricey purchase.
Messina has shared the hilarious story on its Instagram stories.
Apparently the dad had no idea what had happened until he got a message from Uber Eats to say that his food had been delivered.
The father was not even working on the day in questions so he was forced to drive there and pick up the expensive haul.
The extravagant purchase included an entire shopping bag filled with jars of dulce de leche, seven cakes, candles and five bottles of Messina Jersey Milk.
The order is apparently much larger than what was shared on social media.
The dad reportedly left some of the haul for his colleagues at the fire-station where he works.
No word on what punishment the boy faced but safe to say his father most likely has a new lock on his phone.
