Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine holiday in Byron Bay for their first family holiday with baby Harper

Karl and Jasmine Stefanovic have taken to the streets of Byron Bay with their newborn, sporting an expensive accessory as they enjoy the sun.

Karl Stefanovic and wife Jasmine Yarbrough have taken advantage of the glorious Byron Bay weather after stepping out with their new baby girl Harper to soak up some sun.

The pair, who welcomed their first child together in May, returned to the popular coastal town where they often escape for getaways, to enjoy their first family holiday together.

The proud parents were spotted on Wednesday enjoying a morning coffee and stroll before meeting up with Jasmine’s younger sister Jade for some breakfast.

New mum Jasmine, 36, and Today show host Karl, 45, who is currently on annual leave, sported casual looks with activewear and trackies, while Harper was safely secured in a cosy $450 carrier.

The stylish leopard-print wrap, by American brand Artipoppe, is a favourite with celebrities including former Miss Universe Australia Jennifer Hawkins who was seen carrying her daughter Frankie Violet in the same design last month, and Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter who also opted for the popular sling to carry his baby girl, Saoirse Reign Carter.

Many high-profile parents have also taken to using pricey Bugaboo prams which Jasmine also owns.

In May, she shared a photo of hubby Karl pushing Harper in the luxury pram, which can cost anywhere between $1300 and $3000.

The one-month-old got to enjoy her first holiday with her parents in the hippy town of Byron Bay – a popular destination for the couple who were spotted on holidays there in December 2019.

It was around the same time Karl confirmed swirling baby rumours to be true where Jasmine was photographed with a noticeable baby bump in a black one piece swimsuit during their Byron Bay holiday.

“After a great deal of speculation … the rumours are true,” Karl wrote on Instagram.

The town is also home to Thor star Chris Hemsworth and his Spanish actress wife Elsa Pataky who have a $20 million Broken Head mega-mansion.

Karl and Jasmine welcomed Harper on May 1 at Sydney’s North Shore Private Hospital.

Karl has three children from his previous marriage to Cassandra Thorburn – sons Jackson, 20, and River, 12, and daughter Ava, 15.
