Baby wipe hack takes internet by storm
You reach for one, you get 20. It is a common problem but it turns out we’ve been using baby wipes wrong all this time.
We’ve all been there… sleep-deprived with a screaming baby and a soiled nappy that needs changing in the middle of the night.
We reach for the supplies and right when we’re ready to wipe, out come about 43 baby wipes all clumped together when we just needed the one. Cue the tired mum tanty.
But what if we told you there’s a very simple solution that will ensure you pull out one wipe every time?
One mum discovered this simple solution and was compelled to share it with the rest of us parents.

WHAT’S THE SECRET?
Using an ALDI baby wipe packet, the mum from the UK said the secret is once you’ve ripped off the sealed tab at the top of the packet to make way for the wipes, you cut a slit on each side to ensure the opening extends all the way.

“My son is 19 months and I’m ONLY just ‘discovering’ that if you fully rip open wipes they’ll come out one by one and not a whole bunch that string out while I’m trying to change a dirty nappy & undo a wipe with my double chin(s),” the mum shared in a private Facebook group.

The mum continued that her handy “hack” might be well known, but she felt she needed to share with others to save them the hassle. And lucky she did because not many of us have thought of the idea until now!
“Mind blown. I’m going to test this now,” one Kidspot staffer shared.
“OMG me too!” added another.
Here’s another wipe hack that will blow your mind. We’re just full of surprises when it comes to easy parenting.
IT TOTALLY WORKS
We decided to put the trick to the test with two different packets of baby wipes – one Woolies, and the other Huggies.
We can confirm both work very well with the cuts to the side of the packet. Though to be fair the Huggies brand wasn’t really clumping to begin with.
