PUTTING the kids to bed has to be the most satisfying moment for many sleep-deprived parents.

Knowing they are safe and sound asleep gives parents the chance to enjoy the simple things in life — like having a cup of tea in silence or going to the bathroom alone.

But it’s not always that easy, as one New York family recently discovered.

Jonathan Balkin uploaded hilarious footage showing exactly what his two-year-old twins get up to at night.

The young boys, Andrew and Ryan, decided to escape their cots and run-a-muck in the bedroom, including a gymnastics routine and a gossiping session on the couch.

They may be the cheekiest little twins, but they’re also really cute.

Jonathan posted the adorable video to Facebook saying, “when the parents are away the cubs will play ... even if it comes at the expense of sleep.”

And since being posted, it has had a casual 12 million views and more than 115,338 shares.

But the days of late night partying may be over very soon for the boys as the family has “slowly removed everything and bolted the furniture to the walls,” Jonathan told NBC24.
