‘I am 44 and a granny. Everyone thinks I’m lying’

A grandmother has revealed on TikTok that people think she is lying about her age because of how youthful she looks.

She’s a grandmother who’s turning 45 this July.

But Claire Mcgougan looks so youthful that people accuse her of lying about her age when she tells them.

Claire is a regular poster on TikTok, and has over 55,000 followers.

In a recent video she was seen giving her grandchild a bottle, which led to one person writing in a comment: “Granny, yeah right, bulls**t.”

Claire then returned to TikTok with another video as her response, holding her grandchild once again as she said: “See your wee comment so thought I’d jump on.

“Yes I am 100 per cent a gran – love it, best thing ever! Happy happy!”

People were quick to take to the comments section to compliment Claire on her youthful appearance.

“You would win glamorous gran without any doubt,” one wrote.

While another added: “Absolutely stunning.”

And a third commented: “You look great – think people are jealous.”

Others speculated on how old Claire actually was, with one suggesting she was 40 while others thought she was closer to 50.

“45 in July – the 3rd if you want to send me a birthday card,” she joked in another video.

“The only thing that’s been smoothed out on my face is me using a filter – everything else is me.”

“Gone are the days of us girls fixing each other’s crowns!!!” one person commented on the clip.

“Sad really – you are gorgeous & look absolutely fantastic, so keep doing you.”
