Bizarre reason the ‘Four Seasons Orlando’ baby has gone viral
A baby has done the seemingly inconceivable, by behaving in a way no child should – and the wild moment was caught on camera.
A baby who is very eager to visit a luxury hotel has officially sent the internet into a meltdown.
The young child, who is still in nappies and doesn’t seem to be able to walk just yet, was filmed responding to a question many would never expect a baby to understand.
In the clip, a woman off-camera asks a man, who is holding the baby, and a toddler, “Who wants to go to the Four Season Orlando?”
The little girl, who is running around at the man’s feet, haphazardly throws her hand in the air – but the baby’s response is bizarrely competent.
“Me,” it coos, while pointedly holding a single finger in the air.
Understandably, the internet has had a field day with the 8-second video, resulting in what has since been dubbed the “Four Seasons Orlando Baby” meme.
“How does the baby know what Four Seasons Orlando is, I don’t even know what it looks like,” one TikTok user remarked.
“I can’t sleep, this is unreal to me, I’ve watched the TikTok many times and I can’t comprehend it,” another wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
As someone else commented: “That baby legit answered the question. HOW?”
The original video has racked up almost 40 million views since it was shared on May 17, while other clips sharing and commenting on the baby’s adult-like assertiveness have earned even more.
Consciousness is sensory awareness of the body, the self, and the world.
This perceptual awareness is subjective and unique to you and is often described by the medical industry as a “mystery”, a 2018 journal, published by The Royal Society, states.
In babies it is particularly baffling, largely due to the fact that it is understudied, a study published by the National Library of Medicine in March 2024 found.
However, there is neuroscientific evidence that babies develop basic consciousness at around 12-15 months old, with infants as young as five-months-old demonstrating “hints” of consciousness.
The “Four Seasons Orlando Baby” meme has become so viral as it brings something inconceivable, that babies can think and are able to understand their surroundings, to life.
It has also made the clip hilarious to many, prompting an avalanche of memes and videos, all marvelling at the curious baby.
Even The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts responded to the viral video on their own TikTok account, writing: “Who wants to welcome our newest ambassador to Four Seasons Orlando?”
