You cannot help but smile when you watch Emil see his mother for what is essentially the first time.

The little guy was given a pair of glasses by his mother Christine Rosenhoj, who filmed it. Emil’s face the minute he puts them on is only outdone by the huge smile that appears on his face when he looks at his mother.

Many other parents are now sharing photos of their babies wearing glasses and stories about the time they were able to see clearly as children when given glasses.

“Oh my gods this takes me back! When my eldest got her first glasses it was really watching magic happen ... she held her Nana’s face staring at her and then just said “oh you are so beautiful”! Not a dry eye in the optometrist’s office ...” Deirdre Mullaney commented on the post.
