Say goodbye to boring prams

YOU CAN just imagine the parents who would buy the newly invented Longboardstroller, a fusion of skateboard and pram.

Picture them in their hipster suburb, munching on chia seeds (excellent after yoga) and fretting that the birth of little Apple (Gwyneth is such a genius at baby names) means they are no longer ‘with it’. Then see him saying to her: “But, my dear, there is a way we can fuse our love of counterculture with the joy of parenting!”

The elongated skateboard has a seat attached in which you plonk your toddler (helmets are a must). You then stand on the board and use the handlebars to steer as you hurtle down hills, across pavements and (potentially) into the path of heavy traffic.

The Belgian design is just a prototype, but its makers promise that it will soon be coming to a (trendy) neighbourhood near you.
