Woman photographed washing pomeranian’s bottom in bubbler
A woman has been photographed washing her pomeranian’s bottom in a bubbler at a Melbourne park and people are outraged.
A woman has been caught washing her pet pomeranian’s bottom in a water fountain at a Melbourne park.
A horrified onlooker posted the snap to reddit, sparking disgust from users who said it was “so wrong”.
“She did the dog bidet thing, then took the poor dog to the ladies,” the user wrote, after watching the incident unfold at Fawkner Park in South Yarra.
“Then back to the fountain for a cool refreshing blast on the old butt hole.
“Then she placed the poor thing on the ground where she tried to splash water on the poor thing’s rear (who was straining on the lead to get as far away as possible).”
The user said their partner told the woman it was disgusting and the woman walked off.
“About five minutes later an older guy took a drink from the fountain, as he was wiping the drops of water off his face I decided I didn’t have the heart to tell him he just used the dog bidet,” the user said.
The user said they logged a request to clean the bubbler through the City of Melbourne.
The post sparked anger from people who couldn’t believe the woman’s actions
“This is so wrong, people nowadays have a sense of entitlement that they can do anything - they need to have some respect for others,” wrote one user.
“Dog owners think the whole world is their toilet. They take their pets out of the house for the express purpose of having a piss and a poo. It’s not too far to stretch that the world is their bidet,” wrote another.
In August a man was filmed cleaning poo off his dog’s bottom in a bubbler at a Sydney park.
Rebecca Laurie, who handed the footage to The Wentworth Courier, was enjoying a tranquil morning at the park in Rushcutters Bay when she noticed the nauseating act in progress.
“My two-year-old loves that bubbler I cannot fathom letting her use it now,” Ms Laurie said.
“It is completely disgusting, not to mention a health risk, I am sure people who (haven’t seen the video) are using that bubbler today.”
