TikTokker didn’t tell builders they were landscaping the wrong yard

A shocked family recorded the hilarious moment a group of builders turn up and re-landscape the wrong yard in a viral TikTok video.

TikTokker didn't tell builders they were landscaping the wrong yard

Chloe Fountainn must’ve thought she was part of some epic practical joke when a truck reversed into her driveway and started dumping massive mounds of rubble.

Instead of running out and asking the workers what the hell they thought they were doing – the American woman took the better option and filmed the whole episode before posting it on TikTok.

“You’ve got the wrong house! You have the wrong house! Oh no, you have the wrong house,” Chloe can be heard saying in her first clip from behind her closed door, where there is absolutely no way that they can hear her mocking words.

“This is a huge mess up,” she then mumbled.

“Builders are redoing my garden but it’s the wrong house”

In the following footage, Chloe revealed she had no intentions of telling the tradies that they had massively screwed up.

“Well, they’re at the wrong house but I’m not going to stop them because I’d love to have free concrete – or a deck, whatever they’re building. I’ll let you know in part three how it looks,” she revealed.

It’s hard to know if the cheeky woman is for real or not – especially as she has absolutely no idea what they are doing to do to her garden, that’s if she is telling the truth.

“I’m not telling them it’s the wrong house until they’ve finished”

As the workers keep plodding away, Chloe just keeps on filming as she confesses that she’s not even tempted to stop them.

“Okay, so they’re here now, but obviously they’re not finished and there’s no way I’m telling them about it,” she said.

“I’m going to tell them when they’re done. I want whatever they’re doing done, and then I’m going to be, like, ‘Wrong house!’”

“I’ll pay for the new garden I didn’t order to be built”

She then asks viewers to play a guessing game on what the final result might be.

“It’s a complete surprise because they’re at the wrong house, right?” she said. “So if you know what this is going to be – it’s all stone – let me know.”

True or not – many viewers were in hysterics.

Some didn’t believe Chloe would really go that far – while others commented that her not saying anything was a form of theft as her garden was being redone for free.

“Sorry to tell you that what you’re doing is illegal because you could’ve stopped them before it happened,” one user commented.

But she reassured everyone she has no issue with forking out the cash for their hard-earned work.

“The fact that y’all believe this is real, is hilarious …” a bemused person commented.

Company vows to still finish work on wrong yard

In some more footage, Chloe filmed an unfinished backyard.

“They didn’t turn up today but their tools are all still here … I’m hoping they haven’t figured out what’s going on – stay tuned,” she updated.

Chloe then did a further update explaining that she rang the company to apologise for not blurring out their name on the side of the truck in the first clip – and they told her that they would still would come back to finish the work – despite it being the wrong house.

“I had no idea that it was going to go this far at all,” she admitted.
