Finding the perfect beach lounging position is a common beach complaint – but it just got easier.
Kmart has released a new sun lounger, the Salerno Lounger, which is priced at an affordable $39.
But it's the products “revolutionary” facedown design which “means you can lay face down” that is causing an internet sensation, Kidspot reports.
The lounger features two cut-outs for your arms, and one for your face, so that you can “comfortably, scroll, read or snack, while laying on your stomach”, the publication explained.
This means no more awkward attempts to read or scroll while propped up on elbows.
The buzz around the Salerno Lounger started with a TikTok post by @adventureswithfloss, showcasing just how great those three holes are, which has garnered over a million views.
In the clip, captioned “Sun lounger
Social media users expressed immediate enthusiasm, declaring the item was a “must-have”.
“OMG, I need this” one wrote, while another said it was the “perfect Christmas present”.
“This is genius,” someone else said.
The lounger quickly gained popularity, leading to online stock shortages, but our recent visit to the Kmart websites confirmed availability online and in-store, so get in while you still can.
As well as the handy holes, the sun lounger also features multiple reclining positions, a removable pillow and a 3-layer padded construction that makes reading in the sun that much more comfortable.
Complimented by a retro striped print and a side pouch for storing your belongings, the carry handles and collapsibility enhance portability, ensuring you can take comfort, style and functionality wherever you go.

But just be aware that despite the overwhelmingly positive response, the lounger does have one limitation: a 100-kilogram weight capacity.
Some users reported issues with durability, with one shopper commenting: “My boyfriend sat on it and broke it.”
