Aldi Special Buys: $30 inflatable bubble ball goes viral on Facebook
Aldi lovers are going mad for this $30 product with nearly 70,000 people tagging their mates about the popular item on Facebook.
Aldi, you’ve done it again.
We all know how popular the German discount store’s Special Buys products can be — but none appear to be more in demand than this very simple (but super fun) inflatable.
Since Aldi shared an image of the $30 inflatable bubble ball to its Facebook page yesterday, it has clocked more than 64,000 comments from some very excited people who have tagged their mates.
“Simply inflate and then it’s game on!” the caption read.

The product, which is suitable for people eight years and above, is available in stores on Saturday, September 21.
It inflates to about 121cm in diameter and also has grips with adjustable shoulder straps. The minimum height to use the inflatable is 110cm.
And while the product might be marketed to children, many adults have used the forum to shed their excitement.
“Looks like a great thing to do at a 50th Birthday party,” one woman posted.
“I know where I’ll be on Saturday,” said another
“This could be fun! Imagine running a race with a whole lot of us wearing these! Imagine the carnage. Fastest marathon wearing an inflatable?” a third said, tagging his mate.
Others thought the bubble ball be handy to defuse an argument.
“Every time we have an argument moving on, we need to settle it by going to a nearby park and running into each other at full speed while dressed in one of these,” a woman said, tagging her partner.
Some used the forum to share their experiences and suggestions for use.
“I did this several years ago with Soccer mum’s. So much fun,” one woman said.
“Every pub should give you one of these for your walk home,” added another.
A third said: “ALDI shoppers could wear them to their sales to prevent injuries!”
Irrespective of why and how the inflatables will be used, expect massive lines as the product will be available only while stocks last.
Other items available on Saturday include a 65-inch 4K Ultra HD TV for $599, a children’s book caddy for $39.99, a mini sewing machine at $29.99 and 12v Electric 4x4 for $199.

It wasn’t long ago Aldi lovers went crazy for the discount store’s $149 air fryer, and eagle-eyed cooks spotted an exciting detail that comes with the product.
Posting in Aldi Facebook groups, shoppers pointed out the appliance’s “amazing” extra trick.
“OMG!!! The Aldi Air Fryer also dehydrates no more wasting herbs,” one person wrote in the Aldi Mums Facebook group.
Others used the air fryer to dehydrate fruit, turning it into “great little healthy snack treat food”, one person commented.
“I cut thin pieces (about) 2-3mm! Then brushed lightly with lemon juice (bottle) to stop browning! Then did them at 70 degrees for 6 hours,” a commented explained.
It appears Aldi can do no wrong.
