Kmart fan reveals $3 hack to stop staining bed sheets with fake tan
A woman has discovered an unexpected Kmart item to solve a common bedroom problem. Better yet, it’s on sale for just $3.
When it comes to fake tan, there is nothing more frustrating than waking up to a bed full of stained sheets.
While it may give you glowing skin and balance out inconsistencies, its greatest threat remains a possible oompa loompa-like explosion between your crispy white sheets.
However, the common bedroom dilemma may finally be a thing of the past after a savvy Kmart shopper discovered a cheap and effective way to protect your sheets from any possible orange streaks or stains.

The Aussie woman took to the popular Facebook group Kmart Hacks & Decor to reveal she used a $3 sleeping bag liner nabbed on clearance to “save her white sheets”.
She explained that she sleeps in the liner, just like a sleeping bag.
“It also has a pocket for a pillow and has also saved my white pillows,” she wrote.
“I can even put my white quilt over the top of me without worrying about tan getting all over it!
“I highly recommend this,” she said.
While some tanning sheets can set you back around $60, the Kmart Sleeping Bag Liner costs a measly $3. It normally retails for $6, but it’s still on sale for half price.
Since sharing her cheap find on Facebook, the woman who has been self-tanning for four years has been bombarded with comments from fellow tanners eager to give the item a go.
“OMG I need this,” one woman responded.
“What a great idea,” said another.
“Thanks for the tip,” wrote a third person.

One woman was keen to know if the product was “breathable” after spending $60 on an “awful” tanning bag liner made from poly satin fabric.
“I sweated like crazy, made my tan patchy,” the woman said.
“Now I just set two flat sheets together to form a cotton liner for the bed. It works so well and it’s breathable.”
The Kmart shopper explained the $3 item is a soft polyester material and “so breathable”.
“Will definitely still be good to use in the summer,” she said.
“Halfway through the night I did put my blanket on top as it gets cold in my room in the morning but still super comfortable.
“I could still change positions and sleep spread out.”
She added that the sleeping bag is also convenient for storage and to wash.
