Australians share their huge daily cleaning schedules
Household chores can seem never ending – but when one Aussie woman shared the elaborate trick she swears by, others revealed they use it too.
Taxes, bills and housework – you can’t escape any of them
But you can make your cleaning more manageable as some Aussies have proved.
If you’re keen to know their trick prefer to keeping on top of the household jobs, it’s all in a cleaning schedules.
One woman recently shared her huge timetable on the popular Facebook group Mums Who Clean, prompting others to do the same, including a very impressive spreadsheet list.
While fellow mums praised the organisation and dedication of some women, others said they “couldn’t live like that” and a list was too much for them.

An Aussie mum kicked off the conversation with a snap of her hectic weekly cleaning list, divided into nine areas of the home including kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
“My cleaning list. This is mostly weekly, who else has a full cleaning list?” she asked the group’s more than 277,000 members.
Her post was bombarded by comments from women in awe of her “amazing” list.

“This is a great list. I’m going to print my list and put on the notice board for the family to see what cleaning should be done,” one woman responded.
“I have saved your amazing list! thank you,” wrote another.
“Love this, I wish I could be this organised,” a third person added.
Others shared their elaborate lists with women begging one fellow mum to send a copy of her daily spreadsheet.
“Love this!” one member wrote.
“Is there any chance you could email me a copy of this please?” another asked, while a third told the woman she is “stealing” the detailed table.

Others remained hopeful they’d be able to take on a similar system, with one person writing: “WOW! You’re awesome. I’m so going to make a list like this … and give it to my kids to follow. Seriously, this is a great idea.”
While most cleaning fanatics loved the idea of a cleaning schedule, others prefer to keep a “mental checklist”.

“Life is too short,” one person said about keeping a list.
“Couldn’t live like this,” wrote another.
“I don’t have a list but I do it all every day pretty much,” a third commented, while a fourth said she just “wings it”.
“I just do what I have time for or what annoys me as I’m walking past.”

Others demanded “lists are life” and make things “so much easier”.
One woman went as far as saying she gets a “thrill” out of micromanaging her household.
“I get a thrill out of being able to tick things off,” she said. “I have a daily list, weekly, and a deep clean. I don’t always get to tick everything off but holy wow the sense of achievement when I do I.”
“I don’t have a list. But with 4 kids under 10, I have to vacuum 3 times a day, I do 1-2 loads of washing a day. And continually clean all day every day,” another woman added.
