Aldi Special Buys brings back fan favourite $15 waffle maker

It’s the kitchen item Aldi fans went crazy for when it hit shelves earlier this year – now it’s back in a new and even cheaper version.

Aldi is bringing back one of its most popular kitchen appliances as part of its highly-anticipated Special Buys.

Remember the $40 waffle maker the German retailer released earlier this year? Well, due to its popularity, it has released an all-new maker for just $15.

“I regret not getting this so hard,” one Aldi fan posted about the appliance on Facebook.

“The problem is getting hold of one,” another added.

Keen shoppers will be pleased to know they have another chance at nabbing the (new) item when it hits shelves on December 30 – along with a bunch of other new kitchen gadgets and entertaining products.

One product that will no doubt send dessert lovers into a spin is the $39.99 ice cream maker which has a 1.5L capacity and features a LCD display, detachable mixing paddle and freezing bowl.

It also comes with a bonus mould to assist with shaping.

With summer already here, there’s no better way to help keep drinks cool with the retailer’s insulated smoothie tumbler and straw priced at $9.99.

The double wall stainless steel cup, which is valued at $9.99, has a 540mL capacity.

Also on the Special Buys list will be a variety of assorted ice cream gadgets and utensils for as little as $3.99.
