Kmart new homewares range has just dropped – with one item that’s almost identical to an expensive designer brand everyone will want.

$25 Kmart dress shoppers love

Kmart’s latest living collection has just dropped in stores, giving customers a pop of colour as well as continuing to offer the natural aesthetics trend popular with shoppers.

The range includes an array of classics items as well as “on trend” pieces, including furniture, bedding and glassware.

While there’s plenty of monotone items that can work in almost every home, there is also plenty of colour compared to the August Living collection, which featured the popular bouclé chair.

The collection was designed in Melbourne, with the idea of highlighting Australian designs, Kmart said.

An item anticipated to sell out in the collection are the waved glass tumblers, available in blue and yellow, as well as high ball versions of the cups.

All the glassware retails for $14.

There are also wide brim cocktail glasses with the same effect over the glass, with a set of four setting customers back $16.

Similar products that were put out by Kmart at Christmas sold out – while the designer version, made popular by US store Anthropologie, retails for approximately $120, making the Kmart offering a complete steal.

The glassware is on trend at the moment, with Australian brands Target and Typo creating their own affordable versions of the products.

It also adds a pop of colour to neutral dining sets, such as white ceramic plates and bowls with a pearl-look rim.

Vases and statement candles not intended for burning, but rather the aesthetic, are also set to be a popular trend for this year.

There is the ever popular bubble candle, as well as one that looks as though it has been tied in knots.

The candles have a price tag of just $5, allowing for a great alternative for anyone looking to spruce up a space.

“Our customers are constantly looking for new and affordable ways to refresh and update the spaces within their home and we are proud to be able to bring the latest home and decor trends from across the globe to Australia,” Meryn Serong, Kmart’s divisional merchandise manager, said.

“This season, it’s about creating gentle, restful nooks within the home, while still injecting personality via pops of colour, unique textures and nostalgic shapes and angles.”

The new collection hits stores nationwide from February 2.
