“Brighter colours and toy boxes in a well-lit area encourage play,” says Joanne McWhinney. “When it’s time to sleep, use a low bed that’s easy for children to access.”

Inspire creativity by featuring hands-on elements, such as a personalised height chart or display shelf for treasures (e.g. A ‘Shadowbox’ - Make your own. ), or use Chalkboard Paint. “It’s great to write notes, thoughts and inspirations." says Donna.
