Big W unveils new range of homewares and furniture, sparking frenzy
The discount superstore has unveiled a new range of homeware items – but a $69 standout has caught the attention of bargain hunters.
Big W has just announced a limited-edition homewares collection – and before it’s even hit shelves, shoppers are in a spin.
The budget superstore revealed a new spring-inspired range of affordable furniture, bedding and decor – but it seems customers have got their eyes firmly fixed on its “Nadi” set.
The white bedroom and living room pieces feature natural rattan panels, which are very on-trend at the moment, and also have storage built-in.
At $69 for the bedside table, $99 for the coffee table and $129 for the lounge room unit, the prices are also extremely reasonable too.
There’s also a matching two-door sideboard available, priced at $99.
Big W shoppers are so keen on the chic furniture items, some have been discussing how to ensure they get their hands on the limited-edition range, which is on sale from September 3-16, before it sells out.

“Does anyone know when Vic Big W will get the new Nadi furniture range,” one woman wrote in the Big W Mums Facebook group. “It’s still not online and I want everything! Also if someone already has the bedside tables and sideboard what are the dimensions?”
In the Addicted to Bargains Facebook group, several photos of the “Nadi” range were shared on Wednesday, sparking excitement.
“Those bedside tables,” one said, along with a heart eye emoji.
“I like all of it,” another wrote.
Others said they were “very tempted” and pointed out there was a lot of rattan among the offerings.
As well as the indoor furniture, shoppers were also very excited about an outdoor set, that consists of two padded lounge seats with a matching coffee table for $549.
“The House & Home three-piece Atlanta outdoor lounge set is perfect for entertaining during summer,” the Big W website reads.
On Facebook, people were tagging their partners under a snap of the three-piece set-up in store, some declaring they “love it”.
Among the many other items in the new collection were assorted linen, cushions and throws. A rattan bookcase, $99, was also proving very popular, already appearing on Instagram styled in shoppers’ homes.
“Seriously obsessed with rattan and cane lately,” one woman captioned a snap of hers.
