THIS is a triathlon event that requires a different kind of agility: mindfulness. Combining a five-kilometre run (or walk, skip or strut) with a 75-minute yoga class underscored by a DJ and a guided meditation, Wanderlust 108 isn’t about competition but community and finding inner peace.
Check out the The Kula Market, offering local crafts and organic food, plus the workshops in aerial yoga and acroyoga, hooping and slacklining.

+ANZAC DAY CHALLENGE
PAY your respects to the Anzacs this year by participating in the second annual ANZAC Day Challenge. Push your body to the limit by completing a 100km course through Ku-ring-gai and Garigal National Parks within 24 hours.
Three shorter challenges have been added — The Hill 60 (25km), the Nek (40km) and the Lone Pine (65km). This year, the event has teamed up with Soldier On to help raise funds for our wounded warriors.

LEARN about the group of Greek pirates who came to Australia as convicts as you and the anklebiters explore the world-heritage-listed Hyde Park Barracks, where more than 50,000 convicts were housed between 1819 and 1848.
This hands-on history lesson lets kids make their own pirate hats, try on some leg irons and experience what it would be like to sleep on hammocks in cramped quarters.
Suitable for ages five-plus, the littlies will work together solving riddles to find out where secret treasure is buried.
Once they find the site, they can start digging up their riches.
