Several Victorian venues placed on alert as state records 10 new local cases

Victoria has issued coronavirus alerts for several new venues, as the state recorded 10 new local cases.

NSW and Victoria border shut for second time during the pandemic

A popular bar, a cinema, a golf club and several eateries are among businesses listed as coronavirus exposure sites, as Victorian health authorities race to shut down a new outbreak.

The new alerts come as Victoria officially recorded 10 new cases, including the two already announced on Friday.

Those two cases were people who travelled to NSW while unknowingly infectious and have been linked to the Smile Buffalo Thai Black Rock cluster.

All 10 cases are believed to be in isolation.

The DHHS has listed a group of venues visited by potentially infectious Victorians, including the Thai restaurant.

Anyone who was there between 6.30pm and 9.40pm on December 21 must isolate for 14 days and get tested immediately.

Other locations where attendees are classed as close contacts and must get tested and isolate for two weeks include:

BRIGHTON: Royal Brighton Yacht Club (outdoor dining) from 12pm to 2pm on December 29

DOVETON: Holy Family Parish Doveton Catholic from 4pm to 6pm on December 26

GLEN WAVERLEY: Village Century City (Wonder Woman 1984 Gold Class) from 2.45pm to 5.30pm on December 28

MORDIALLOC: Woodlands Golf Club (the clubhouse bar) from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on December 23 and from 4.40pm to 5.15pm on December 28.

There are also several sites where visitors have been deemed casual contacts and should get tested immediately and quarantine until they receive a negative result:

LAKES ENTRANCE: The Esplanade Resort and Spa from 2.30pm to 5.50pm on December 29

LAKES ENTRANCE: Lakes Boat Shed Cafe from 9.30am to 10.30am on December 30

LAKES ENTRANCE: Albert and Co. Cafe, Bellevue Hotel, from 9.30am to 10.45am on December 29

LAKES ENTRANCE: Esplanade Resort (pool area) from 3.30pm to 4.30pm on December 29

LAKES ENTRANCE: Esplanade Resort (hotel bar) from 5.30pm to 5.50pm on December 29

LAKES ENTRANCE: Wyanga Winery, December 29 from 1pm to 2pm

MELBOURNE: Fonda Mexican on December 29, from 6pm to 7pm

MELBOURNE: European Bier Cafe City, December 21, from 8pm to 9pm

MOORABBIN: Minnie Miny Mo Cafe, December 24 from 11am to 12pm

SOUTHBANK: Left Bank Restaurant, December 25 from 12-2.30pm

SOUTHBANK: Rockpool Bar and Grill, Crown Casino, from 1pm to 1.30pm

DOVETON: Holy Family Parish Doveton Catholic at 6.30pm on December 26

LEONGATHA: Coral Fish and Chips, from 4pm to 7.30pm on December 27 and from 7.30am to 11.30am on December 27

OAKLEIGH: Melissa Oakleigh Restaurant, from 7.30pm to 8.15pm on December 28.

Other locations have also been listed for people to monitor for symptoms including an Aldi in Cheltenham, a Coles in Hallam and a Woolworths in Lakes Entrance.
