Fans of MAFS’ Elizabeth Sobinoff worried she’s lost too much weight

Married At First Sight star Liz Sobinoff has fans “genuinely concerned” as her dramatic weight loss transformation continues.

Lizzie returns to MAFS season 7

Fans of Married At First Sight’s Elizabeth Sobinoff say they are worried she’s lost too much weight – despite the reality star continuously reassuring them she’s okay.

Over the past few months, Liz has undergone a dramatic transformation, sparking concern from her fans who believe she is worryingly “slim”.

In October last year, the MAFS contestant took to Instagram to address fans, writing that she was “in a good head space”.

But now the 28-year-old sparked fresh fears after sharing a racy selfie with her 201,000 followers.

In the photo, Liz can be seen posing in her underwear while holding a jar of moisturiser. The post quickly gathered more than 4000 reactions as well as hundreds of comments, many from people expressing concern.

One person said: “I adore you, yet I’m genuinely concerned. This is now beyond just ‘looking skinny’. I hope you are OK.”

Another said: “Sorry I don’t want to sound rude in any way but you’re beautiful but you don’t look well. You have lost a lot of weight.”

“Wow I love you but you don’t look healthy,” a second said.

A third added: “And I ain’t being rude as I do admire her and her strength but it’s worrying.”

When Liz appeared on MAFS in 2019, she was cruelly fat-shamed by her husband – an incident which had Australians up in arms.

Sam Ball, the man Liz married, described his new “wife” as a “bigger” girl after first clapping eyes on her.

This fact was noted by some that no matter what Liz did, she seemed to come under fire.

“People bagging online definitely can have an impact. She was copping it last time on MAFS for being too big now to thin, all I love is that she looks happy,” said one person chipped in.

News.com.au has contacted Liz Sobinoff for comment.

It’s not the first time fans have flooded Liz’s Instagram page to say they think she has lost too much weigh, with her followers up in arms just weeks ago after she shared a selfie on February 14.

The snap showing the star in a cafe gathered 6110 reactions and 325 comments, with people again expressing their concern.

“Dark hair so suits you but you need to fatten up a little as too skinny and your (sic) gorgeous,” one said.

While another added: “I’m sorry I think you are amazing … but you were definitely a lot hotter with the extra weight … you look sick, hope you’re healthy.”

Last year a photo of her wearing a pencil skirt sparked a similar response, forcing Liz to speak out through a dedicated post.

While Liz is yet to make her appearance on season seven of the hit reality show, she has spoken previously about her weight loss, attributing this to health issues.

She suffers from two conditions, porphyria, a blood disorder that can affect the nervous system and other organs including the skin, and lupus, an auto-immune disease.

To manage the conditions, she follows a strict eating plan and adheres to a high-carbohydrate diet. She also avoids coffee, tea and alcohol.

Liz said she also wears long hair extensions to help protect her from the sun as both conditions can be exacerbated by sunlight.
