From Wednesday this week until October 20 the popular competition at the fast food giant is returning, with a record-breaking prize pool of $616 million to win.

To play, Macca’s customers just have to buy a participating food product – which includes fries, coffee, hash brown or a McFlurry just to name a few

This year, the game will be played via the MyMaccas app, with customers scanning the Monopoly ticket see if you’ve won in three different ways: instant win, collect to win or chance card.

TIKTOK VIDEO REVEALS ‘BETTER’ WAY TO EAT BIG MAC

One Sydney foodie has gone viral on TikTok for claiming that most of us Macca’s lovers are missing out on the best way to eat a Big Mac – but not everyone is convinced.

Cake Mail founder Jonathan Massaad, who frequently shares hacks for the fast food giant on his TikTok, posted showing the “better” way to eat a Big Mac.

“Order a Big Mac, take the top bun off,” Jonathan explained as he opened up the burger.

“Then get the middle (bun) and flip it. Now your meat and sauce ratio is a lot better, because this (top) bun has no sauce, and this has all the sauce.”

The video has been viewed more than 270,000 times with many people saying they too ate their Big Macs this way.

But others disagreed, with some arguing a “Big Mac is perfect the way it is” and there were other ways to fix the sauce ratio.
