Korean-style dumpling brand recalled over undeclared egg allergen
A “number 1” dumpling brand has been pulled from Woolworths shelves over an undeclared allergen.
A popular brand of frozen dumplings has been urgently recalled over concerns about an undeclared allergen.
The food safety authority Food Standards issued a recall notice on Tuesday for Bibigo Mini Mandu Prawn Dumplings 270g.
According to the notice, the dumplings were recalled due to the presence of an unlabelled allergen, that being egg.
“Any consumers who have an egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed,” the notice stated.
The “Number 1 Korean” dumplings were sold at Woolworths stores in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia.

Customers were urged by the food authority to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
