Coke calls people 'retard' and Mazdas full of spiders: weirdest product recalls!

A popular protein bar has been recalled from shelves after it was found to contain a product that could put those with allergies at risk.

The INC Shred Max raspberry coconut flavour protein bar 60g is being recalled by the Chemist Warehouse Group, which is sold at the stores nationally.

The affected product has a best before date of December 16, 2022.

The recall is due to incorrect packaging, potentially exposing consumers to peanuts.

“The product packaging is for INC Shred Max Raspberry Coconut Flavour, however the product inside is INC Shred Max Peanut Caramel Flavour,” the NSW Food Authority advised in a statement on Monday.

“Any consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.”

Consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance are advised not consume the product and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Those concerned about their health should seek medical advice, authorities said.
