Urgent recall for wine sold at BWS, Dan Murphys stores around Australia

The popular wine has been found to contain an ingredient that might cause an allergic reaction in some people.

A popular wine sold at leading bottle shops around the country has been recalled over allergen fears.

Pinnacle Drinks say sulfites have been detected in the Noble Fellows Sauvignon Blanc 2021 Vintage 750mL, sold at BWS and Dan Murphy’s stores.

Food Standards Australia says any one who has purchased the wine and has a sulfites allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if they drink the wine.

“Consumers … should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund,” a Food Standards statement said.

Noble Fellows Sauvignon Blanc 2021 vintage has been recalled over the presence of sulphites.
