A range of pre-mixed gin and vodka drinks have been urgently recalled from bottle shops across Australia due to faulty packaging.

Ampersand Projects is recalling Pink Gin Soda, Vodka Soda and Vodka Soda Black because of a flaw in the 355ml bottles.

Food Standards Australia has warned that the packaging fault results in the lid popping off the bottle which may cause injury if opened.

“Consumers should not open or drink this product and dispose of it safely (away from body),” it said.

“Please contact Ampersand Projects for safe disposal instructions and to arrange reimbursement.”
