Man’s shocking act in Adelaide shopping centre

An Adelaide man has been caught on camera chowing down on an unusual food that many have labelled “disgusting”.

Food poisoning breakthrough

A man has been caught on camera tucking into a shocking meal while shopping at a Westfield in Adelaide.

The man was seen eating raw chicken drumsticks while on an escalator in Westfield Marion in Oaklands Park in Adelaide’s south.

Many disgusted people were quick to express their concern for the man’s health, as raw chicken is a known culprit for food poisoning.

“Raw poultry and meat may contain harmful bacteria including salmonella, listeria, campylobacter and E. coli that can cause food poisoning,” the NSW Food Authority warns.

“Make sure minced meat and poultry is cooked thoroughly. Cook poultry, minced meats and sausages until well done, right through to the centre. No pink should be visible.”

“Can someone please check to see if this man is still alive??” one person asked.

“He’s so cooked, the chicken gets charred on the way down …” another said.

Others were quick to say the man had a specific reason for chowing down on the strange food.

“He wants a week off work,” one person said.

“Someone is trying to get a few sick days,” another wrote.
