A breakfast to-go product has been recalled from a major supermarket over an allergy concern.

Frisp oats peanut butter 150gm were recalled from all Woolworths stores nationally on Monday after it was discovered the packaging lacked a warning that the product contained a milk allergen.

While the product label claims the oats are “soaked in plant-based milk” and the ingredients list includes coconut milk, which is considered to be a dairy and lactose-free product, the recall was issued nonetheless.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said consumers who had a milk allergy or intolerance might have a reaction if consumed.

Customers can work out if they purchased one of the affected products by checking the best-before date of January 14, 2026.

They are warning anyone with a milk allergy to not consume the product and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
