Aldi stores across NSW and the ACT are recalling their Whoppers products due to the presence of a number of undeclared allergens.

The 141g boxes of malted milk balls have been recalled after they were found to contain allergens, which refers to milk, wheat, barley, peanuts and tree nuts.

Any consumers who have allergies to any of the above may have a reaction if they consume this product.

According to Australia’s Food Standard Code all allergens must be declared on the labels of food containing them.

All best before dates are affected by this recall.

The NSW Food Authority has advised anyone with concerns about their health to seek medical advise.

“Customers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full cash refund,” Aldi said in a statement.

“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
